How to export products to TikTok Shop: a step-by-step guide
Exporting is the quickest and easiest way to list our products on TikTok Shop. You create the product on our website, add your details, and we send the listing to TikTok for you.
Before you start
Set up Shipped by Seller shipping.
Make sure you own your design or have permission to use it. TikTok removes listings that break its intellectual property rules.
Step 1: Choose a product
Pick the product you'd like to add your design to. You can see them all in our product collections.
If you've already created the product in your Inkthreadable account, skip to Step 3.
Step 2: Upload your design
On the product page, click the upload icon (third from the right, an arrow pointing upwards).
Choose your print file.
Drag and resize your design on the mockup.
Select the colour to use for your mockup.
Click Create product.

Step 3: Export the product
With your product saved to your account you can move on to exporting it to your linked TikTok Shop.
Click the export icon (second from the right; an arrow pointing to the right).
Fill in these fields:
Title: By default, this is the product name and the design name so you'll want to edit it to suit your brand. TikTok recommends titles between 25 and 80 characters.
Description: We add the basic product information, like materials. We recommend keeping it, and you can add more about your design.
Brand: Choose the brand for this product, and we'll include your custom packing slip in the order.
Label: Choose the label to print on the neck of the garment. This isn't available on every product. See Relabelling your garments.
Resale price: Enter your TikTok Shop price, including VAT. We recommend at least double the product cost.
Keep your title and description factual. TikTok rejects listings with misleading or exaggerated claims, so "the best t-shirt ever" won't get through.
Step 4: Choose your variants
1. Under Product Options, select a colour.
2. Click the list icon in the top-right corner to add every size for that colour.
3. Repeat for each colour.
Each variant you add shows in the Variations for Import box. The options under the Product Options heading will create your product variants in TikTok. You can add one or multiple colours and sizes (or any other variants, depending on the product you're creating).
Step 5: Choose a TikTok category
Select the TikTok category that fits your product.
For a unisex t-shirt, choose Menswear > T-shirts or Womenswear > T-shirts, depending on who you're selling to. TikTok sets its categories and doesn't have a unisex one.
Step 6: Export
Click Export to TikTok.
When the export finishes, the button turns green.
Click View on TikTok to open the product in Seller Centre.
Step 7: Check your listing in Seller Centre
1. In Seller Centre, go to Products > Manage Products and open your new product.
2. Check the title, images, variants and prices.
3. Check the Shipping section has a package weight and package dimensions.
TikTok reviews every product before it goes live. While TikTok checks it, the product shows as Reviewing. If it fails, TikTok emails you the reason, and you can edit the product and submit it again.

What next?
Exported products are linked automatically, so orders for this product come through to us straight away.
Once you've paid, we'll make and ship your order within 3 to 5 working days. We'll email you when it's on the way, and add the tracking to your TikTok order automatically so your customer can follow it.
