It’s time to update your e-commerce store(s) shipping profiles to match our updated pricing and services.

From the 27th of March 2023, almost all untracked shipping methods will be removed to ensure your customers have the best delivery experience possible. Plus, prices will change in line with our courier's rates for 2023. Find out more about the changes.

This guide will show you how to make the necessary changes to ensure your customers are covering the cost of postage at checkout.

In your Shopify dashboard, head to Settings > Shipping and delivery.

Locate the shipping rates your store uses for Inkthreadable products; if you only use us to fulfil your Shopify orders, these will be under your General shipping rates. If you have multiple fulfilment locations, you may have them under Custom shipping rates.

Click Manage.

First, let's set up the rates for the UK.

To prevent any mistakes, we recommend deleting the existing rates under this shipping zone, and we'll re-add the new rates together.

To do this, click the three dots next to each rate and Delete.

Your zone should then look like this:

Now, you'll need to repeat those steps for several more rates following the table below:

*This rate will rarely be used but may be worth adding if you expect large orders on Shopify. It covers orders between 61 - 120 x t-shirts or 31 - 60 x hoodies.

You can change the rate names if you wish - however, the words "48" / "24" and "Courier" are keywords and must be included for the order to be received on the correct method via the integration.

Once you're done, it'll look something like this:

If you've previously followed our shipping guides, you may find multiple Europe Zones in your shipping profile. However, we won't be needing those anymore.

Click the three dots next to Europe Zones 1 - 5 and Delete them from your profile.

Next, click Create Zone. Add 'Zone name' Europe.

Then, you'll need to enter each European nation manually. The list is included below and, regretfully, cannot be copied/pasted in full since only one country can be entered at a time.

We suggest copying/pasting one country at a time and selecting the box; it should only take a few minutes!

Now, let's add the rates to this zone. The steps are the same as previous rates, following the table below:

Once you're done, you'll have 4 rates within your Europe zone:

If you have pre-existing rates for the USA, let's not delete them this time because the weight ranges will stay the same.

Instead, update the costs for each weight range to match the following table.

(If you don't have rates for the USA yet, add them now! Simply click "Create Zone", type in the United States and select the region).

Once you're done, the zone will appear as follows:

You're halfway there! Click Save to apply the changes so far.

If you have existing rates for Australia, you'll need to update the rate names and remove the rate for weights 0.6kg to 0.699kg. We'll be updating the last rate to 0.4kg to 0.699kg.

Update all rates in line with this table:

This should now appear in your shipping profile as follows:

We've not had exclusive rates to Canada before, and this will be a new zone for all stores.

Click Create Zone, enter the 'Zone Name' Canada and select the Canada region to include all 13 provinces.

Then, follow the process Add rate using the details of this table:

Once complete, it'll look like this:

Almost there... All we need to do now is update your rates for the rest of the world.

The shipping methods and weight ranges aren't changing for this zone, so you can change the existing rates as long as yours are set up already.

And once done, it'll look something like this:

Don't forget to hit Save again to apply the changes.

We recommend reviewing your shipping profile to double-check your condition columns and prices. It's so easy to accidentally type an extra 0 or forget to add a minimum weight, which could cause checkout errors for your customers.
