How to Use a Discount Code
Inkthreadable offers discount codes for customers to sample the products and services on offer.
Discount codes are intended for a single use on one account. Orders placed by re-using a one-time code, or by creating multiple accounts to take advantage of an offer, may be cancelled and refunded.
Where can I get a discount code?
Monthly newsletter discount code
Sign up to our newsletter and we'll send you a 10% welcome discount code along with a new 10% sample code every month.
The code gives you 10% off a sample order with a basket value of up to £100. It's perfect for trying out some of the new products released each month. You can read more in Ordering a Sample.
Integration discount code
We offer a single-use 50% discount code for new customers who have successfully integrated their store using any of the available integration options. This discount has a maximum basket value of £50.
This code is issued by our customer support team on request. Reach out and we'll send your unique code when your account has been verified as eligible.
Where do I enter my discount code?
Discount codes are applied at checkout, before you pay for your order.
Add any products to your basket and head to the checkout page. You'll find the discount code field above your products.
Click Apply and you'll see the discount applied to your basket total.
Why isn't my discount code working?
If your discount code isn't working, a warning will pop up above the discount code field to explain why.
These are the most common reasons:
Your basket is over the code's limit
Most discount codes have a maximum basket value, typically either £50 or £100. Try reducing your basket below the limit.The code has already been used
Most discount codes are single use and will only work once per customer.The code has expired
Most discount codes, especially the monthly discount codes, have an expiry date.
I haven't received my monthly newsletter code
Our newsletter goes out at the start of the month. If you've registered for the newsletter and can't find it, check your spam or junk folder first.
If it's still missing, send us a message through live chat and we'll resend the email to your registered email address.
When you sign up for our newsletter you'll get a welcome email with your first discount code. You'll receive your first monthly newsletter email towards the beginning of the following month.
Do discount codes stack with reward tier pricing?
Yes, discount codes work stack with reward tiers!
The discount is applied to your order first, then your reward tier discount is applied.
Sample orders will also count towards your eligible reward tier account spend for the following month.
I forgot to apply my code!
We can't retroactively apply a discount code to an order that's been placed. Your options are to cancel the order and place a new one, or to use the code for a future order.
If the order is unpaid, you can cancel it through your unpaid orders page. If it's been paid for, reach out to our support team by live chat and we'll check if it's cancelable.
If a paid order is cancelled it will lose its place in the production queue. Placing a new order puts that order in the queue at the time and date paid.
