Why did my Etsy store disconnect from Inkthreadable?

Learn why your Etsy store disconnects from Inkthreadable after a password change, how to reconnect, and manage missed orders.

Updated this week

If your Etsy store has become disconnected from Inkthreadable, it’s usually because your Etsy authentication token has refreshed. The most common reason for this is a password change on your Etsy account.

When you update your Etsy password, Etsy automatically refreshes your authentication token for security. This means any connected apps (like Inkthreadable) will lose access until you reconnect.

How to fix it

  1. Log in to your Inkthreadable account.

  2. Head to Integrations → Etsy.

  3. Click Reconnect and follow the steps to re-authorise Inkthreadable.

Once reconnected, your products will sync as normal and any new orders will import automatically.

What about orders received while disconnected?

Orders placed on Etsy during the time your store was disconnected won’t be pulled through to Inkthreadable. If this happens, you’ll need to place these orders manually in your Inkthreadable account.
